Happy Halloween

I have always enjoyed Halloween, but I have enjoyed it alot more now that I have kids. Well this year when we were deciding on costumes for the kids, I had originally picked out Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. But I would actually like to make those costumes and since I would need my Mom to help me with that, we will save that for another year. So we were watching "The Wizard Of Oz" one night with the kids, & Myllie said "Mom can I be Dorthy for Halloween?" I told her that was a good idea! Ethan jumped up and started growling like a Lion, so there ya have it. October 2008.........."Dorthy & The Lion"Myllie kept holding one leg up so it looks like she is missing a leg.....LOL.....Myllie loved her costume this year! It was a nightmare to find her "Ruby Slippers" but it was worth it, she loved wearing them!! Ethan wasn't so happy about his costume at first, unfortunately I think it was kinda itchy, but all in all we had fun this year. Myllie & Ethan had fun at the Ward Party. They got kinda restless right before the Trunk-or-Treating.I love this last picture of Ethan. He was not happy about all the picture taking. Myllie was a good sport and tried to smile. It was a good night, not freezing so the kids enjoyed themselves. At the end of the night Ethan even enjoyed wearing his costume...LOL... I'm such a mean Mom for making him wear it. :-) They sure looked adorable though!

Boo!

I am having a little Halloween party for my Day Care kids. I went and bought fun stuff to fill their party bags with, I had some extra bulgy eye glasses so Myllie and Ethan started playing with them. I was working at the table and Ethan came up behind me and said "Boo" wearing the glasses. It was so funny! Myllie and Ethan had fun trying to scare Scott and I. I couldn't help but take pictures. These two partners in crime have so much fun together! They do everything together and Ethan has to do everything his big sister does. They are great kids and they keep us laughing! I love these pictures!! We are looking forward to the fun Halloween Party our ward is having tonight, along with dinner and truck-or-treating. Myllie and Ethan woke up early wanting to put their costumes on. They can't wait. We tried on their costumes this morning and made final adjustments, they look great! Since Ethan was born I have dressed our kids in matching themes.... October 2006........"Teddy Bears"October 2007..........."A Witch & A Spider" You may be asking yourself what the Reaves kids will be for Halloween this year?? I will be posting pictures tomorrow but here is a hint........"Follow The Yellow Brick Road"

Sleepy Boy

While I was at a mandatory meeting Scott took these cute pictures of our sleepy boy. At about 11 months old Ethan started biting his blanket, that turned into carrying it in his mouth. From there it became falling asleep with it in his mouth....LOL This is his comfort blankie, and he carries it around everywhere, in his mouth! (Only at Home) Hey I don't blame him, he needs both of his hands to play. This is his favorite blankie and the only one he will use. He has had this blanket since he was born (Thank You Taryn) We think it is cute and one of the many things we love about our "Little Man".

I especially love the Daisies, they are so pretty!!

Sweet Dreams

Sometimes when Scott and I want to watch something different than the kids, we will let them watch their movie in our room. It will be nice to have a T.V in our room in the new house, but for now we use the Laptop in our room to watch movies on. Anyway, the kids get so excited!! They pull out all their blankets & pillows and lay down to watch the movie. We usually let them do this on Friday nights. Half way through our movie we went in to check on Myllie and Ethan.......This is what we found.......They look so cute.....I think at one point Ethan was probably holding Myllie's hand & Myllie fell asleep with her gloves on...LOL Even though these 2 keep me on my toes and constantly on the go, I wouldn't change it for anything! I have more fun with these little munchkins, & Scott. We all have a blast wrestling and chasing eachother around the house. Being with Scott and raising Mylllie & Ethan are the greatest blessings I have ever received. At this point life couldn't get any better!

House Update

Well another week has come and gone. They now have our footings and foundation done! This sure is going pretty fast. I know this is probably the easy part, and things start to slow down once they get it framed and so on. They will begin framing around the 29th. We are so excited!! Well not much to see this week. We are so happy that our drive-way will be on the left side. We fell in love with the way the model home was set up, and it had the drive way on the left. We are looking forward to seeing an actual house in the next few weeks.

Newest Do's

Well I have really dropped the ball with taking pictures of the hair do's Myllie and I have done here lately. We have been so busy that I am lucky her hair gets done before school. So here is a few that we have done recently.

This one was interesting and turned out cute, but Myllie's hair just isn't long enough for this one yet. It would look better with longer hair. This one was cute, I have found a new way to do the messy buns with no bobby pins!! They end up looking alot more adorable than before. This one is very cute too. Myllie wanted her hair down, puffy, and curly for school this day. This is what we came up with. Myllie loved this one.I just noticed that the last 2 sets of pictures Myllie is wearing the same outfit!?! I promise she didn't wear the same outfit 2 days in a row....LOL Well that about does it for My Little Princesses hair for now. :-)

And The Award Goes Too.......

I think that these Awards are a fun little confidence boost to all who receives them. For all the hard work and creativity that goes into your blog, it is nice that someone notices it & enjoys it so much that they think you deserve an Award. So I have found a new Award that I would like to present.
The Excellence Award

There are several Blogs that I think are Excellent!! So The Excellence Awards go too........

Samantha: Her blog always makes me laugh. She has such a great sense of humor and the pictures of Brooklyn are adorable! So I present this Excellence Award to Sam for always putting a smile on my face and being there for me when I have needed her. Love you Sammy!!

Shantelle: Her blog always has the best stories and the greatest adventures. Shan seems to find the best activities and the funnest places to visit. So I present this Excellence Award to Shan for being the person I am going to come to, to help me plan an adventure, and because I can't wait to have many adventures with her. Love you!!

Taryn: Her blog always has something new and creative added to it. She always has the most adorable pictures of her family posted, and it is great to be able to be apart of there lives even though we live so far away from each other. So I present this Excellence Award to Taryn for allowing me to have a glimpse into your world! Love ya!

Denise: Her blog is just plain cute!! She always has the best pictures and the cutest backgrounds. Her stories much like Shan's are great and I always look forward to something new on her blog. So I present this Excellence Award to Denise for always having the best pictures & cutest backgrounds. And for becoming such a good friend with great decorating ideas! Thanks!!

Lori: Her blog always has such heart felt, warm and fuzzy posts, that always make me feel like being better, at everything! Lori is an awesome Mom and her blog reflects what an awesome Mom she is. So I present this Excellence Award to Lori for making me want to do more to better myself....Thanks, Love ya!

These are all what I consider to be Excellent Blogs!! They all deserve a pat on the back for being such wonderful people. I love and appreciate you all!!

Now all you have to do is copy and add the Excellence Award to your blogs and give it to at least 5 people. Link to their blog from yours, and let them know you are giving them this award. If you want to give this award to more than 5 people feel free everyone deserves a pat on the back once in awhile. Have Fun!!

House Update

Well last Thursday we got a phone call from our Sales Counselor, Candace who is incredible and who we would recommend to anyone!! Anyway she called us to let us know that they received our building permits, but is was still going to be a few weeks before they could actually start the build process. That didn't really bother us, so I told her to just give us a call when she knew a more definite start date. Well today during my busy lunch time Candace called. Through the conversation I thought oh she is calling to tell us they will be starting towards the end of the month. Not the case they will begin excavating on Thursday!!!! Yep this Thursday the 9th. I felt like my jaw was on the floor.....LOL I thanked her profusely for making my day. So they are now almost 4 weeks ahead of schedule, which I know means nothing at this stage. But it is exciting. We weren't technically suppose to get our building permits until the 9th. So I am happy!! It feels like things are falling right into place for us. Everything thus far has felt so right and confirmed our decision to separate from the Air Force. However Scott isn't cutting ties altogether from the military, he is joining the Air National Guard in Utah. It will be alot more relaxed, and he gets to have a job that will give him experience in his major. I am so grateful that Scott is willing to sacrifice another trip to Tech School, One weekend a month, & 2 weeks a year, so that we can build a house, be close to family and let our kids have the benefit of staying in one place all throughout school. He is one incredible Husband & Father!! My parents will be taking weekly pictures for us, so I will post those as I get them. Yippee....They are starting our house....LOL :-)
