Happy Halloween

I have always enjoyed Halloween, but I have enjoyed it alot more now that I have kids. Well this year when we were deciding on costumes for the kids, I had originally picked out Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. But I would actually like to make those costumes and since I would need my Mom to help me with that, we will save that for another year. So we were watching "The Wizard Of Oz" one night with the kids, & Myllie said "Mom can I be Dorthy for Halloween?" I told her that was a good idea! Ethan jumped up and started growling like a Lion, so there ya have it. October 2008.........."Dorthy & The Lion"Myllie kept holding one leg up so it looks like she is missing a leg.....LOL.....Myllie loved her costume this year! It was a nightmare to find her "Ruby Slippers" but it was worth it, she loved wearing them!! Ethan wasn't so happy about his costume at first, unfortunately I think it was kinda itchy, but all in all we had fun this year. Myllie & Ethan had fun at the Ward Party. They got kinda restless right before the Trunk-or-Treating.I love this last picture of Ethan. He was not happy about all the picture taking. Myllie was a good sport and tried to smile. It was a good night, not freezing so the kids enjoyed themselves. At the end of the night Ethan even enjoyed wearing his costume...LOL... I'm such a mean Mom for making him wear it. :-) They sure looked adorable though!

So So Cute!!!!!! I love them! I was Dorothy 2 years ago and I loved it. But I feel for you on the Ruby Slipper thing. I ended up getting a pair of my sandals and hot glueing senquins all over them. They turned out pretty Awesome though.

Have fun trick or treating!
