Myllie's First Day Of Kindergarten

Well school has officially started, and Myllie is so excited. We went today and met her teacher and saw her classroom, went on a tour of the school, met the Principle, we were shown where Myllie's needs to line up every afternoon. It was alot of fun. So today was more of an orientation, tomorrow will be the day she gets to go all by herself :-( Our little Myllie is in school!! We just can't believe how time has flown. Her teacher seems really nice. Myllie loved her first day of Kindergarten.....with Scott and I close by. I liked that they did this for the first day....kind of a little transition day. Myllie has been with me everyday all day long for 5 years. Personally I think it is going to be harder on me than it will be on her. We are so proud of Myllie!!
Ethan wanted to be in the picture too......Outside her class room......Myllie and Daddy in her classroom......
Myllie already has a friend in her class. This little girl is also in her primary class......Yeah!!!Myllie had so much fun on her first day of Kindergarten. She can't wait to go back tomorrow.

The Western Idaho Fair

Well we took our kids and went with some friends to the fair yesterday. It was fun, but way too hot. I remember going to fairs/carnivals in Utah growing up, it's fun to experience these same fun things with Myllie and Ethan. They had a blast!!
Myllie getting her face painted.
Myllie and Ethan being Farmers.......Too Cute!!Our Cute Little Lamb.....
We went into one building that had a ton of bunnies, turkey's, chicken's, geese, ducks......tons of them!! The kids were having so much fun. Ethan got a kick out of all the new baby chicks.
Myllie and Josh watching the Geese.....Then we moved out to the outdoor tents that had lots of goats, cows, sheep......The kids had so much fun feeding the goats. Our little Ethan has no fear....He walked right up to the Texas Longhorn and wanted to touch him. This animal could do some serious damage to our son, but he was fascinated by him...LOLEthan waving bye-bye to the cow......Myllie and Ethan love animals and loved being able to pet them, it was fun and the goats were so cute!! After we had some fair food we headed home it was way too hot to ride any of the rides and the kids had already been out in the heat a long time. This was a fun way for us to officially end the summer. Myllie and Ethan were fast asleep before we left Boise.

She has done very well in such a short period of time. Way to go Myllie!!!Ethan also had to ride his bike, since "Mye"(how he says her name)was riding hers. He is so funny and had so much fun!!My two little munchkins are so much fun!! We have had a blast together outside for the past few days. I have great kids and feel so blessed to be their Mommy!!

Lazy Weekend

Well we didn't do anything really exciting over the weekend. We were all pretty lazy and just relaxed. I think the major thing we did was secure our lot so we can start building our new house....Yeah!! We will be going down to Utah in the next couple weeks, to pick out colors and carpet..etc. We are so excited and soooooo ready to be done with the military!! Myllie and even Ethan talk about our new house. They are more excited that we will be by Grandpa's and Grandma's and lots of cousins than they are about the house. December can't come soon enough!! :-)
Myllie and Ethan were playing outside and wanted to show us their new tricks....They thought this was the coolest thing ever!! Myllie would swing from side to side and Ethan just back and forth...They are too funny, and easily entertained.

Ethan made a nice mess with his pudding....and was very proud of himself....LOL We tried a new Hair Do on Myllie...This one was our own creation. A little braid into an upside down ponytail.....Pretty easy and very cute!So all in all we had a lazy and relaxing weekend which both Scott and I needed. It is only Monday and already I can't wait for the weekend. :-)

No Training Wheels

We have been teaching Myllie to ride her bike with no training wheels. She hit quite a growth spurt so she needs a bigger bike but to learn on she is okay with her old bike. She is getting pretty good, but still needs a little help. Here is Scott and Myllie practicing!! They are so cute!! These are probably my favorite.......Ethan wanted to help teach Myllie too!! Our little Myllie is growing up way too fast for me....LOL Scott was so great with her, they had alot of fun together. Before long she will be doing it without me or her Daddy.

A Few More Hair Do's

Okay here are some of the new ones we have tried. Myllie and I have been having a great time! She has already decided how she wants her hair for the first day of school. She is so funny!
This is a Basket Weave, it is Myllie's "Princess" hair do. You can do so much with this one......

I don't know what to call this one...."Lacing"maybe...?? Call it what you want :-)

This one is a tuck under knot into a side ponytail.......Myllie loves this one, and it is very cute! Well that is all for now. There are endless possibilities with these three hair do's. I plan on trying a few new ways to do these ones. I will keep you posted!!!
