House Update

Well last Thursday we got a phone call from our Sales Counselor, Candace who is incredible and who we would recommend to anyone!! Anyway she called us to let us know that they received our building permits, but is was still going to be a few weeks before they could actually start the build process. That didn't really bother us, so I told her to just give us a call when she knew a more definite start date. Well today during my busy lunch time Candace called. Through the conversation I thought oh she is calling to tell us they will be starting towards the end of the month. Not the case they will begin excavating on Thursday!!!! Yep this Thursday the 9th. I felt like my jaw was on the floor.....LOL I thanked her profusely for making my day. So they are now almost 4 weeks ahead of schedule, which I know means nothing at this stage. But it is exciting. We weren't technically suppose to get our building permits until the 9th. So I am happy!! It feels like things are falling right into place for us. Everything thus far has felt so right and confirmed our decision to separate from the Air Force. However Scott isn't cutting ties altogether from the military, he is joining the Air National Guard in Utah. It will be alot more relaxed, and he gets to have a job that will give him experience in his major. I am so grateful that Scott is willing to sacrifice another trip to Tech School, One weekend a month, & 2 weeks a year, so that we can build a house, be close to family and let our kids have the benefit of staying in one place all throughout school. He is one incredible Husband & Father!! My parents will be taking weekly pictures for us, so I will post those as I get them. Yippee....They are starting our house....LOL :-)
