Little Elf, Surprise Party, & Snow, Snow, Snow

Myllie has been loving her new school! I was worried at first that she would have a hard time, but she has made friends and she loves her teacher. She gets up every morning excited to go to school. This last Friday they had an Elf Party. Myllie was so excited to dress up like an Elf, I had packed away everything I could have used for this...Oh No!! What to do?? So I called Shan, cause she can always come up with something cute, and of course she saved the day! Thanks Shan!!
Here is Our Little Elf.....her little outfit turned out very cute!!Myllie had so much fun at her party and was sad to find out that she had 2 weeks off from school. Boy that wont last long........LOL

Saturday we celebrated Scott's Birthday with a Surprise Party, I have been planning this party for about 3 months. It was so much fun! He had no idea which made it even better. Scott's sister Lori flew in from Alabama, one of his mission companions Clint and his family came, and Scott's childhood friend Ben and his family were there also. Along with the rest of our immediate family, and friends we haven't seen in forever. Thank you all for keeping the surprise and celebrating with us. We had alot of fun! Happy Birthday Honey.....Love You!!

Pictures from the Party.....
Being in the military for the last 6 years, we have lived in places that don't get very much snow. I think 3 inches is the most we have ever seen & it has all melted by the next day. We have missed the snow and having white Christmases. These last few snow storms have been wonderful, but we aren't big fans of driving in it. Our kids have loved the snow as well.
Myllie, Ethan & Brooklyn after playing in the snowWe are looking forward to our first White Christmas home. It is nice to be around family and see them alot more often.

We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year!!

I am jealous that you get to be home for the Holidays! I am jealous that you have snow and you are surrounded by family. *Sigh* the Lord has a different plan for us. But we still could end up being home eventually.

You guys look so happy and I am so thrilled for everything you all have. It's a true blessing from heavenly father!

Happy Birthday to Scott!

Myllie is adorable in her elf costume! It is great to hear how well you are doing and how much you are enjoying being near family. When it comes right down to it, family is most important. Hopefully one of these days we can get together....LOL! As for all this snow we are getting, I don't remember getting this much snow in Utah when I was at BYU, what gives???? I hope you guys have a very Merry Christmas! And Happy B-day Scott!!! What are you now, 18 with 10 years of experience????? LOL!
