Mtn. Home USAF Air Show

Yesterday our base held its biennial Air Show. This is the first time we have ever been to one! I know we have been in the military for 6 years and this is the first time....LOL. The base was open to the general public so it was very busy. They estimated over 70,000 people to attend. It was pretty cool, Myllie & Ethan had a blast! Scott was asked to stand with a display of different bombs that he works with and answer any questions the public might have. I am proud of him, he's so smart...LOL :-) It was a very long day, & we spent way too much time in the sun. It was a fun day, our last Military Event.....Wow time is going by so fast!! Here are some of the pictures I took. They don't do the Air Show justice however it was awesome to watch what these planes/jets could do. The famous Thunderbirds also did a short performance. Very very cool!!!

This is the C-17. Myllie and Ethan were trying to give it a little push....LOL These are the Thunderbirds. They are pretty cool. There were 7 F-16 jets in all. It was amazing to see what they could do. The way they can fly in unison and come so close to colliding with eachother head on. I held my breath a few times....LOLSorry for the endless pictures, I wont even tell you how many more I have.....LOL We had alot of fun, the kids were so tired that they both needed to sit in the stroller. They are so cute and really funny. Every time Ethan would see a jet fly over head he would say "Mommy whook...Mommy whook" and point in the air. So cute!! Myllie liked to ask endless questions about the planes/jets that I couldn't answer. In spite of the sun we had a fun day!!
