I thought I would share the fun wrestling match that happen here last night. Scott has been working 12 hour shifts since Thursday. They are in the middle of an exercise. If you are military, you will know exactly what that means. To pretty much sum it up it is a "Huge waste of time." Not only is it a waste of time but it also means that for a whole week me and my kids don't see Scott, or really get to spend any time with him. He had to work over the weekend, which was awful!! Anyway, last night when he got home he started wrestling with the kids. The kids love it when Scott gets down on the floo
r and plays with them. Scott is such a great Dad. Even though he was dead tired last night, and wanted nothing more than to just climb in to bed, he took the time to play with his kids. Myllie and Ethan absolutley adore him. They both run to the door when he comes home. Ethan litterally follows him around everywhere. I know that sometimes Scott feels like he isn't a very good Dad, or that he isn't patient enough, or that he doesn't play with the kids enough. I know that sometimes he feels like he can't live up to being the kind of Dad, his Dad is, with him. I think that every parent feels like that at one point or another. I know that Scott is an Awesome Dad, he has come a long way from when Myllie was a
baby. Scott is the youngest in his family. So he didn't grow up having to help
out with the younger kids. So at first it was hard
for him. But now he is a wonderful Father and tries so hard to help out with the kids, playing with them, reading to them, bathing them, brushing teeth, putting to bed. You know, the normal stuff. I know alot of Dad's that refused to change diapers or they bring the Baby to the Mom when they needed changing. Scott is great about helping out. Granted, it takes him a little longer and he uses alot more wipies, but hey the job gets done. I am very grateful for all Scott does to help out. These 12 hour shifts have been brutal. It is not only hard on Me and the kids, but it takes a toll on Scott. He is so tired. But he still takes time to be with the kids when he gets home.
As you can see by the pictures, Myllie and Ethan had so much fun playing with their Daddy. It was so much fun to watch. I was laughing so hard. Ethan was so silly, he kept trying to tackle Scott. Myllie kept trying to climb on him like a horse.
They all had so much fun!! The only bad thing was this was right before bedtime. So the kids were a little hyper afterwords. But because of Scott's long hours and not being able to spend much time with them, I didn't mind at all. I am really looking forward to us getting out of the military. No more long hours, no more exercises! I can't wait!!!
I know that Scott is ready to get back to a normal life, with a normal job. We are really looking forward to living by family and being apart of all the family dinners and get togethers. Myllie and Ethan will love having all their cousins to play with all the time. If you haven't noticed we are really excited!!! December can't get here soon enough. We are ready!! When we move back to Utah we are hoping to be able to buy our first house, it will be great to plant some roots and stay put. With moving all the time with the military we are ready to just stay in one place.
I am so grately to Scott for all he does for his family. He works so hard to provide us with all that we need. I love him so much and can't imagine life with out him or our sweet little munchkins!!! My life has truly been blessed!

How FUN! My favorite sport is watching Dave, while the kids clobber him.
You guys look like you are having fun, and Scott enjoy the exercise, it's almost done right?
We'll have to wrestle when I get home Scott. You will have to whip me into shape.
