My Day Care Kids

As I have said I run an In Home Day Care. I know you must be thinking that I am completely nuts!!! Well on some days you are completely right!! I do have days when I want to run into my room crawl into bed and pull the covers all the way up over my head, and hide. Those days don't come to often anymore. When I first started everyday was challenging, because I was new at it. After awhile things started to go very smooth and I no longer dreaded my days. Not only is the money really good, it is also very rewarding. I enjoy spending the day with all the kids I have now. They are all Awesome!
These are the kids I have right now. Myllie and Ethan count as part of my Day Care. We have Stevie-2, Jessina-2, Ryan-2, Myllie-4 &
Ethan-18 mo. Our days are crazy but fun. We keep pretty busy. You might think that it would be pretty easy where it is in my home, I can just pop a video in for them. Not the case. I have to follow all the Air Force Rules and Regulations. I am only allowed to show 1 movie a week. There is alot more to it then I thought there would be.
I laugh alot throughout my day, 2 year olds are hilarious. I love this age and I am glad it worked out to be the age I am watching. Right now we are currently POTTY TRAINING!!! WOW.....When I was training Myllie I thought that was hard enough, now I am training all three of my Day Care kids. Even my little Ethan wants to sit on the Potty. He doesn't know what to do when he gets there, but he likes to sit on it. I have always heard it is alot harder to potty train boys. Well in this case Stevie and Ryan are alot easier than Jessina. They are all doing pretty good though. It hasn't really been all that difficult. I have a good group of kids who have really great parents!! They have all been so supportive and helpful. I have made some good friends. I have had Ryan in my Day Care the longest and we are good friends with his parents (Steve & Kelly) They are Awesome, I haven't seen two parents more devoted to their son. (Kelly is on "MyFavorite Blog" list) I am so glad Scott and I have gotten to know them, and we just love having Ryan around. Stevie and Jessina are reletivly new to my program, and they are both good kids as well.
My job is really hard, but I think it is also the most rewarding & fun. I get to play with a bunch of 2 year olds all day. Who would not want to do that?? The bad days that I do have are getting less and less. It occured to me a few weeks ago that 4 of the 5 kids (Ethan, Ryan, Stevie & Jessina) are all going through the Terrible Two's all at the same time. So that would explain the few bad days I have here and there. Even though it has it's bad moments I really enjoy what I do. I love the fact that I can still be at home with my kids as well as have a full-time job. Not many people can do that. I feel so blessed that it has worked out so well for me. I enjoy having these cute kids in my home and I will miss them terribly when we moved. But for now we have a whole lota fun during the day. :-)
My favorite time of day.....NAP TIME!!! These kids keep me going all day long, so the only time to relax and regroup is during nap time. Dispite everything I really like my job!!!

I can't imagine you'll be gone at the end of the year so I just don't think about it. Oh and dont forget we ARE going to the Spa as soon as my money gets back because after putting up with my little terd all day you deserve a break. See ya this evening.
