Bye-Bye Brooklyn :- (

Well after 2 fun filled weeks, little Brooklyn has gone back home. We loved having her here with us. I am glad that we were able to keep her while Micah and Sam had a blast in China!! Myllie & Ethan even miss her. We are happy that she is back with her Mommy and Daddy, she missed them quite a bit. When Sam walked in the door and called to Brooklyn, she was a little shy at first. I was holding her and she just looked at Sam like she wasn't sure who this person was. It didn't take long for her to remember, after that Sam wasn't allowed to put her down. If Sam put her down for any reason Brooklyn would start crying really hard. Needless to say Sam didn't put her down all night.....LOL. Brooklyn was so happy, laughing and had a smile on her face. I am so glad that they are all back together, 2 weeks is a long time to be away from your 14 month old. Micah and Sam missed her tons!!

"Peace Out, Yo!!" We don't really know what Brooklyn was doing, but it was so funny!! She is so cute, we will miss you Brooklyn!!

Fun in the Dirt

We spent alot of time outside this last weekend. The kids had a blast playing in the dirt!! Here are some of my favorites!! I remember doing the same thing at her age. Needless to say all the kids needed baths after a fun day in the dirt. We had a very fun weekend!

Last weekend my sister Sam & her husband Micah brought their little girl up to Idaho to stay with us for 2 weeks while they go to China. We have been so excited for Brooklyn to come & stay with us. So far it has been really great. The first couple days she was upset but she is having a blast now!! Myllie & Ethan have had so much fun with her. Myllie calls her "My Little Sister" Myllie wants a little sister pretty bad. Ethan likes to play with Brooklyn too. Although they are closer in age & fight over more of the same things. ~ Slip-'n'-Slide ~

The weather was great a couple of weekends ago, so I let the kids pull out the Slip-n-Slide. I got some cute pictures and thought I would post them. I hope the weather gets back to normal soon. I am tired of rain and cold. The kids are really wanting to get the fun water toys back out again. Enjoy!!

Not quite getting the whole run and slide thing, Myllie resorted to the army crawl through the water.

Ethan was skeptical of the water at first, and then..........

I couldn't get him out of it. Each time he would crawl through the water the would be laughing the whole time.

Having fun playing together. Myllie and Ethan have a blast playing all sorts of make believe games. I can't remember quite what is was that they were playing here, Myllie said something about a magical fairy in a pool of crystal water. It was really cute!!

Myllie slipped and landed flat on her bottom. She started laughing and said " I'm so Hilarious."

Ready to go back and play in the water after a little break to play in the house. Ethan has this thing were he has to always make sure the door is shut.

The kids had a blast and even though they didn't understand the whole slip-n-slide thing they had fun with it in their own way. I love my kids so much and feel very blessed to be their Mommy.
